During these difficult times it is easy to get discouraged and fear the unknown. As Christians though we are taught in the Bible that we are to be light in a dark world. I have noticed lately that people are commenting about how nice I am. It somewhat surprises me, because I am just doing what I’ve always done, but now there is a stark contrast in the world. Our world is getting darker and therefore our light as Christians is becoming more evident.
In scripture it says do not be changed by the world, but rather be transformed by the renewing of your mind. When we shine God’s love through our actions, in a dark world, people take notice. We are different that what is being reflected around us, and people want to know what makes us different?
We are here for such a time as this. The church is needed in the world! We are not behind four walls keeping to ourselves. We are called to go out into the world, huddle time is over. We have what the world desperately needs, and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!
Be encourage on your walk today! Do not faint in well doing, for in due time you will reap
if you faint not. God needs you to spread His love to all you meet!
